We’re sisters Karen Vano and Jen Maurry and we’ve joined forces to create a boutique real estate partnership driven by a shared passion: exceeding all expectations. With our expertise in design, strategic marketing, and our deep Bay Area roots as lifelong residents, we offer a highly customized approach that incorporates Compass' innovative programs to deliver an elevated real estate experience.

Showcasing your property in the best possible light is second nature to us, but our top priority is you. We begin with open communication, listening to your needs. As parents and homeowners in Redwood Shores (living next door to each other, no less!), we understand the financial significance of buying or selling a home. Our success relies on strong working relationships, and our highly responsive and resourceful approach ensures you feel confident every step of the way.

Karen and Jen both attended college in California and enjoyed successful careers prior to entering real estate. Karen worked in advertising and brand management for renowned brands such as Pottery Barn, while Jen honed her marketing and design skills at tech-giant, Oracle. Driven by their entrepreneurial spirit, they founded 2Sisters Design, where their exceptional talent for creative branding and innovative thinking quickly gained recognition.

The sisters, who live next door to each other, have grown up in the Bay Area where they have been fortunate to raise their families. Their deep community roots give them invaluable firsthand knowledge of public and private schools and micro-neighborhoods across the Peninsula. Tenacious, responsive, and can-do, Karen and Jen share more than talent; they share a desire to be of service. As realtors, they draw upon their extensive experience crafting compelling marketing strategies and delivering exceptional customer service. 

Beyond their work lives, Karen finds fulfillment in transforming living spaces, pursuing her passion for running and sports, and spending quality time with her son and daughter. Jen is an avid researcher who finds joy in reading, staying active, exploring new destinations, and creating cherished memories with her husband, two sons, and their beloved rescue lab-mix, Darcy.
